The Dutch Farmers Rebellion
Much like the Canadian Trucker Convoy, tractor-driving Dutch farmers have been protesting climate restrictions that threaten farms and livelihoods. In this article, I want to present the whole story and show why the Dutch farmers are in an all-out rebellion against the globalists.
UN Agenda 2030
“More people around the world are living better lives compared to just a decade ago. More people have access to better healthcare, decent work, and education than ever before. But inequalities and climate change are threatening to undo the gains. Investment in inclusive and sustainable economies can unleash significant opportunities for shared prosperity. And the political, technological, and financial solutions are within reach. But much greater leadership and rapid, unprecedented changes are needed to align these levers of change with sustainable development objectives” (UN).
This entire gob of word salad is the UN’s way of saying individuals need to give up their rights and prosperity for the greater good of others. This is not benevolence or charity but is outright one-world government and communist doublespeak. There is no utopia on earth and giving up your rights will not create one. Similar to UN Agenda 2030 is the WEF’s Build Back Better program “where you will own nothing and be happy.” The UN, WHO, and WEF are all globalist organizations that seek to control every aspect of your life while enriching elites.
Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2)
The Dutch are fighting emissions regulations which are used to stop Nitrogen Dioxide formation. This seems to be the new acid rain.
“NO2 forms from ground-level emissions related to the burning of fossil fuels from vehicles, power plants, industrial sources, and off-road equipment, such as construction vehicles and lawn and garden equipment. In addition to contributing to ground-level ozone formation, NO2 is linked with a number of adverse effects on the respiratory system. NOx reacts with ammonia, moisture, and other compounds to form small particles. These small particles can penetrate deeply into sensitive parts of the lungs” (EPA).
Based on the EPA’s statement, gas-powered cars, heavy equipment, and lawnmowers are going to be outlawed. The part about ground-level ozone formation mixing with moisture and ammonia relates to waste that livestock produce. The globalists are weaponizing these regulations to limit the number of animals the Dutch raise.
I suspect this is all junk science since the EPA, OSHA, CDC, and EU are all pushing this narrative. Gas-powered cars have been driven for 100 years and animals have been doing their business on the earth for millennia and nothing has changed with the environment.
Deep State Goals
Climate change is a lie that just will not go away. For 40 years, the greens have preached about global warming, carbon footprints, and environmental existential crises that will end human civilization as we know it. Using safety, globalists manufacture emergencies with predetermined solutions to acquire wealth and achieve a political outcome. The middle class and the poor always pay the heaviest when access to prosperity and liberty is crushed.
As part of the EU, the Dutch government agreed to net-zero emissions which will force farmers to use less fertilizer and restrict the amount of livestock produced.
The Globalist goals are to seize farmland, sell genetically engineered fake meat, and build Megacities. Under the current climate crisis, Dutch officials could seize farmland from farmers not abiding by new emissions restrictions. The sinister Bill Gates has invested 600 million into Picnic a grocery chain specializing in new-age foods like plant proteins and engineered meats. In 2017, Dutch investment group VNO-NCW announced its plans to build a megacity that would encompass the Netherlands and parts of Germany and Belgium. The name of this project is Tristate City and would effectively end farming in the Netherlands.
“Dutch cities, the organization says, are too small to compete in what it calls the ‘battle of the cities’, in which mega cities compete for investment and talent” (Dutch News).
Netherlands Farming
The Netherlands has one of Europe’s largest livestock industries, with more than 100m million cattle, chickens, and pigs. It is also the EU’s biggest meat exporter” (The Guardian).
The Dutch have a very large agricultural sector with 27% of land used to produce sugar beets, potatoes, wheat, barley, and rye grains. Holland is also famous for exporting tulips and other bulbed flowers. Approximately 54% of the land is grasslands used for cattle and livestock production.
Protest Activities
The farmer protests have been entertaining to watch and feels like the Dutch version of the Dukes of Hazzard. Farmers have caused mayhem by throwing round bales off hay wagons and setting them ablaze in the roadway. They have blocked airports, surrounded government buildings, and shut down highways with hundreds of tractors. Tractors have been used to dump manure in government buildings and sprayed riot cops with dung. Their leadership has thrown police off their trail by announcing fake protests to exhaust law enforcement. Several undercover officers, attempting to subvert and destroy the movement were ousted by the farmers. When police fired on a 16-year-old boy driving a tractor, farmers blocked the front door of the officer’s home with a pile of round hay bales. Protesters even shipped in a military tank to blockade one of the food distribution centers. Finally, one of the Dutch tractor cabs is up-armored and reminiscent of the infamous Killdozer. The Dutch farmers are not going to comply with these restrictions and will fight for their farms.
US Food Crisis
What is happening in the Netherlands is not exclusive to Europe. The globalists are destroying food processing centers, increasing fertilizer and fuel costs, buying up farmland, and crushing farmers economically. These efforts will essentially end small family farms and lead to dependency on corporations and the government for food production. Right now, this is happening in America. Bill Gates is the largest landowner in America and no legislative body is stopping him. On day one, Biden killed the Keystone XL Pipeline and restricted drilling leases for the oil companies. The price of fuel has skyrocketed and caused the cost of all goods and services to increase. This year over 20 food processing centers have burned down and no one is investigating it. All this pressure is forcing farmers to raise prices or sell out altogether. The war on farmers must end and their family land must be protected from excess taxes, land grabs, and globalist agendas.
